What is the situation with James Ward? I’ve been out of TT RPGs for a loooooong time (joined here back in the 3rd edition days and then fell out of TT gaming before 4th came out due to obligations to family and work and etc) and with an increase in free time I’ve recently been bitten by the bug again and picked up the 5th core books and have enjoyed reading them. I was a big fan of 1- and 2-edition Gamma World, and I’ve been looking at Metamorphosis Alpha recently as it was a setting I was fascinated with decades ago because of the mention in the 1e DMG and from reading articles about it in Dragon mag way back in the day, but back then I had far less disposable income than I do now as an old fart. I was looking at pulling the trigger on some of the stuff at Goodman Games and then all this came to light. I know he’s a creator or co-creator of Giantlands, which has unfortunate attachments to people being discussed here. Is this a case of poor choice in business partners? I haven’t seen any comments from him personally that were repulsive. I know he’s a conservative and I’ve been to his FB page and doom scrolled through the last year or so of posts without any obvious red flag terms or slurs so if he does share his business partners’ views he’s at least keeping them close to the vest. I don’t want to support people with viewpoints being discussed here or anything similar, so anything out there I’m not aware of?
