More spell items, up to Wh p. 179, Scent spell The text of the Scent spell indicates "a creature may take a partial action to note the direction of the scent.". There are no partial actions in 3.5. This probably should be a free action. ------------------------------------- p. 184, Tortoise Shell spell The header contains an entry for "Area/Effect/Target:". Based on the value there, it should just be "Target:". The wording in paragraph two of the text promotes confusion. Enhancement bonuses extend an existing base bonus; they do not "stack with" (i.e., are separate from but combine with) that existing base bonus. Considerable energy has already been expended trying to correct this misconception; this spell reinforces the error. Multiple enhancement bonuses overlap, like any other named bonus type. There is a difference between "does not have a bonus" and "has a bonus of 0". No rule that I know of defines normal clothing as "armor with a bonus of +0", but the example here "backdoors" such an explanation into the game. This may seem trivial, but it can become an issue when the 6th level Wizard wants to create a "Traveler's Outfit +2". -------------------------------------- p. 184, Traveler's Mount spell The spell's header has an entry for "Area/Effect/Target:". This should just say "Target:" There is a closing parenthesis in the second paragraph of the text without a matching opening parenthesis. -------------------------------------- p. 185, Unyielding Roots spell The spell header has an "Area/Effect/Target:" entry. It should just say "Target", based on the rest of the spell's operation. -------------------------------------- p. 187, Lesser/Greater/Visage of the Deity The three spells Lesser/Greater/Visage of the Deity do not list the Mysticism domain on their "Level:" lines. -------------------------------------- p. 189, Weather Eye spell The spell's Components line reads "V, S, M, DF". The text entry describes the Divine Focus component as "A scrying device of some kind". That sounds more like an ordinary Focus component (Divine Foci, per the SRD, are the caster's holy symbol). --------------------------------------
