Complete Expert questions

Whatever the title will be, is it already scheduled? I know only that Complete Divine and Arcane are coming, but I am not sure about the fourth book.

Yesterday I was compiling a list of all the feats to be allowed in our current campaign (our first in 3.5), which started only a few weeks ago, and I was evaluating which unrevised 3.0 feats should I keep and which not. I compared the 3.0 classbooks feats with the ones revised in PHB and CW (or simply made core) and I realized that already a lot of those feats have been published in 3.5, with the notable exception of a lot of metamagic, probably destined to end up in Complete Divine/Arcane. Particularly, I noticed that Song & Silence feats were almost all made 3.5 already, and the ones left are either Bardic feats or very unpopular (or both :p ).

Then I started wondering... do we really need a Complete Expert? What are they going to put into this book?

Think about the 3.0 series of classbooks:

Sword & Fist material has almost all been revised and made core or into CW.

Defenders of the Faith and Tome & Blood material naturally flows into Complete Divine and Complete Arcane respectively.

Masters of the Wild material will be split, with combat-oriented Barbarian/Ranger stuff gone into CW, and Druids presumably will be treated in CD.

Then there is Song & Silence. The parts about equipment, organizations and roles don't need to be revised; traps are treated extensively in the new DMG; most of the feats made their way into the new PHB. Bards material (feats and spells) could be all included into the Complete Arcane, especially since it is only about bardic music and bardic knowledge.
What is left? The S&S's PrCl were possibly the weakest collection of the series; admittedly this may mean that they indeed require a serious revision, but also they could simply be forgotten. What else can they write about skills? The system is already very solid, even more so after the revision...

I don't know, but I felt like while CD and CA still have a lot to revise or add new to their topics, I cannot think of what a Complete Expert should contain, beside another bunch of prestige classes, but based on what? Skills? I would really prefer if they stop with 3 classbooks that already cover all the interesting topics, rather than having again a very week book for Bards and Rogues (and Rangers maybe)... :\

Thoughts?

Don't mess with Cletus the 20th level Commoner!! He'll cut your head off with a rusty scythe, because he's got a 23 strength from working out in the fields all day!!

You're a bit late. There's already the Guide to Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. There's even a thread about GUCK's development here in the EN World forums.
