I have bought and tried almost all the software tools, but never really went full firce until DM Genie.  <a href="http://www.roleplayingmaster.com" target="_blank">Roleplaying Master</a> is good, and obviously PC Gen is good too.  I also have tried <a href="http://www.alteregosoftware.com/" target="_blank">Meta Creator</a> for creating NPCs.I have both Fractal Mapper and Dundjinni, but it takes SOOOO much time to learn them that I just haven't gotten there yet.  I suppose I need to just jump and see what happens when I fall.I also load my modules (I am running one that is in both PDF and print) and copy/paste text to send to Players (who also use laptops).  I need a cool messaging program that I can send maps, notes, etc... secretly.  I may look into ScreenMonkey.CatsclawAny other thoughts?</blockquote>
