Meaning, can I turn off all the fancy background and boarder stuff in particular, but art would be another layer I'd like to turn off sometimes. With all the modern "oooh...lookit!!...shinneeeyyyyy" emphasis that's somehow equating to "quality", it seems the idea of a book (re; pages with words on it) seems to get secondary status. I'm getting on in age, and all the small text, coloured backgrounds, etc...make it more and more difficult for me to read easily (don't get me started on all the glossy-pages hardbacks...er...sorry... <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" /> ).
