I've read it. I found it interesting. It's the account of a young woman who works at WotC--a real "girl's girl" into shopping and makeup and whatever who had never been the least bit interested in fantasy or RPGs--discovering and getting into D&D.
It's very pro-D&D--she definitely converts into a true gamer--but the path into the game and the relationship with it is very, very different than mine and probably those of everyone else likely to read these boards.
It's presented as a true story, and though I can't attest to every fact, I can definitely identify all the characters even though the names have been changed. (Her DM, for example, played in my d20 Apocalypse campaign for a couple years.) My guess is that it's 95%+ true.
I found it a very enlightening read, and though I doubt it will result in a whole new breed of gamers beating a path to our gaming table, it does illustrate that RPGs can appeal to different people--and for different reasons--than what we've come to expect.
I recommend it!
