Congrats, Morrus

HellHound

ENnies winner and NOT Scrappy Doo
Congrats on both getting the server back up and stable-looking and acting AS WELL as getting yet another book out the door of Natural 20 Press!

Once again, I expect by tomorrow you will have outstripped me in sales figures (we are currently the #1 seller for the week at RPGnow after 3 days on sale), and will leave me eating electronic d20 dust.

Note To Self: "Remember to release books when Natural 20 Press isn't..."

Additional Note To Self: "Ignore previous note... Natural 20 Press' release schedule is too frequent to be able to avoid releasing during the same general time frame!"

:D

Just joshin'... the extra traffic your books bring to RPGnow usually results in higher sales figures for my stuff anyways. And somehow I think the fact that you are selling a book about the msyterious, creepy and eeeeeevil (not to mention tragically hip and cool) drow might have something to do with it outselling a book of common NPC statblocks. No matter HOW useful the statblocks might be, they are still for... well... commoners. Hard for my level 3 blacksmith to measure up to half-mind flayer drow assassins, eh?

Thanks, Jason. :)

You shoudn't worry, though. I'm operating under two handicaps with this one:

1) It's one of our external products, produced by Goodman Games. Historically, the externally produced products don't sell nearly as well as the Nat20 produced products. Still trying to figure out whether that's a coincidence so far, or whether it's actually a factor.

2) With a dead news page, nobody is really aware of the book. Those that are are also aware of your book, which has had the same exposure on EN World as Nat20's has: i.e. one news item on the same day. If they see mine, they see yours - which is perfectly fine by me! :)

So, I won't be too suprised if you outsell me on this one. I think your book has moe general utility, so will probably appeal to a wider audience. Anyway, good luck! :)

[BTW - I do expect the next book, The Elements of Magic, to kick some serious ass. :) )

So the server's stable for good now? *asking carefully, trying not to jinx it*

Dunno. The main site isn't running, so the server isn't exactly having to do much. The test will come once the new RAM is in and I reactivate the main site.

*Keeping fingers crossed*

I actually couldn't do that for a while. I was suffering from board withdrawal.
