Contests: Should they go into general?

IMO, Yes.

Contests are great!

Three threads is nothing, especially on the old boards, where there were twice as many threads/page.

Now Baseball? That's another story. Stoopid Cubbies.

Well, I for one, have been planning mine for months to coincide with the release of my book. I made sure to ask Morrus if it was ok to put it in General, and he said it was fine... I also designed each one to drop off the page when it was done, to prevent undo clutter.

Yeah, I hear you Alsih2o- I always seem to kill the threads I post to, or even start . It's never seemed like you've had that problem, though...


I just meant that when the contest was closed, I put a "contest closed" message at the end. Unless the topic was spectacularly interesting, there would be no real reason for further posts.
