[Conversion]Woe is me, I bought FFE!

yes folks i know, shame on me but i got a good deal on the demon and devils books for dirt cheap (now i know why!) and I need help converting the demons, devils, 20 level PrC's, spells, shoot the whole book to a usable format.

Has anyone done this? Attempted to? Where can i find info on this great task?!??!?!

FFE has some great ideas, but poor implementation in their first 10 or so books. The newer ones are MUCH better (Devil's Players Guide, Most Dangerous Creatures), and seem pretty sound. What I did with the Demons & Devils books was mine them for ideas, then make up my own stats for the beastie as I needed them. Not much help to you, but that was my experience.

thinking that's what I am gonna have to do. Take the info and just run with it...sucks, as FFE has no errata nor plans to fix these glaring errors.

I know the feeling Leopold, I bought a couple of their adventures for $1 a pop..and I feel jipped. Well, one of them is good, but I was almost to a cheap Nerco module..so I still feel jipped.

I considered doing it on a case-by-case basis, but so far, I haven't had enough need to put aside the time to do so, considering I have a scad of monster books that do have usable statistics as-is.

Perhaps I'll look over a few today and see if I see any obvious tweaks.

well i like the PrC's that are in the book. very nice flavor, so wrong wrong wrong as far as stats go.

The fallen angels are very nice I like them, i would consider redoing them and posting them online but I wouldn't know where to put the CR's. I would prolly go off the ToH as far as CR's for baddies and just tweak and twist the abilities around and make them more 'believable'. i mean the LE devil of war that "inspires greatness in his troops" has a charisma of 15. Give me a break!
