(Crossposted from the Wizards Eberron boards) I'm in the process of converting a campaign I've planned to 4e. The adventures I am using are all published in Dungeon, except for Voyage of the Golden Dragon, which was published as a stand-alone adventure, and Hell's Heart, which was published on Wizards pre-DDI. The basic plan is; Chimes at Midnight (DUN 133) Murder in Oakbridge (DUN 129) Steel Shadows (DUN 115) Voyage of the Golden Dragon Riding the Rail (DUN 143) Quoth the Raven (DUN 150) Hell's Heart The campaign will start at third level; the final fight against Viktor will be their first Paragon tier fight, at 11th (and a good 6K worth of XP), after which I will be passing the DM reins. Preliminary notes: I will be essentially doubling XP gain. A level will be 5 encounters, not ten. I will be assuming 5 characters when building the adventure, though I expect to go slightly above-budget. As a result, I will be removing some of the combats in the adventures. The face-off against the Thoqquas in Voyage at the ziggurat entrance, for example, seems unnecessary - it doesn't move the plot and takes up XP budget space. One of the players wants a connection to the LoBster. I will do some or all of the following to work him in. After Steel Shadows, Shadowblack will get in contact with the Lobster. LoB agents will be involved in any of the following (specifics TBD); The Hijacking at the beginning of Voyage (I like pirates, so I'll probably keep this as-is) The Giant Ruins in Voyage The Hijacking at the end of Voyage The Hijacking on Riding the Rail Spider in Quoth I still need to work out the LoBsters motivations, so I can give the next DM a solid story to build off of. After completing one adventure's worth of conversions, I'll post a nicely formatted PDF version, complete with nice symbols and all. So, without further ado; Prologue: Prisoners on Parade The only thing I'm worried about with these is the Ettin - he's a level 3 elite version of a level 10 elite creature; similar powers, lower attack/damage. I'm wondering if the addition of Double Club makes him too deadly?
