Kid Charlemagne I am the Very Model of a Modern Moderator Dec 21, 2005 #3 As best I can figure from a quick look on Yahoo, Google, and Wikipedia, the .dat files are just MPEG-1 files that have been renamed with a .dat extension. If you rename it to a .mpg extension, you could probably edit with most any editing program.
