Then its one-handed damage bonus (STR 24 = +7) is the same as a 3E Ogre's two-handed damage bonus  (STR 21 = +5, ×1½ = +7).Dex 8 like an Ogre or Hill Giant is fine.A 3E Ogre has Constitution 15 and an AD&D Ogre has HD 4+1.Compariwise the Fachan has Hit Dice 8+3 does suggest its hardier than an Ogre so I'm OK with Constitution 17.Intelligence 5 is lower than a Hill Giant or Ogre, both of which have Int 6 in 3E. Since those critters are also INTELLIGENCE: Low (5-7) in AD&D. I'd go for Intelligence 6.Wisdom 10 and Charisma 7 like a 3E Ogre are both OK by me.So, putting that together I'll counter-propose Abilities: Str 25, Dex 8, Con 17, Int 6, Wis 10, Cha 7.</blockquote>
