OD&D Converting OD&D Monsters

BOZ - You mentioned starting a thread on this topic. Did you need the stats for some monsters to start with? I remember you mentioned needing more resources.

I noticed going through some of the old books that many of the creatures are around now, only with different names. Most of the demons in the Immortals set are just the glabrezu, marilith, etc. with different names. The devilfish are the Ixitxachitl. The list goes on.

yes, quite a few OD&D monsters were in AD&D, some with different names. our job here would be to focus on the ones that are unique to OD&D/mystara.

and i will most likely start that thread over the weekend, when i have more time (explainations come later when i get more facts).
