My problem is that one of my closest friends has expressed a lot of interest in playing, however, he has also shown a great deal of avarice toward 3E. Now I know for a fact that he hasn't even played 3E, he may have flipped through a book or two but that's it. How can I convince him that 3E is so much better then the older editions we played back in the late 80s/early 90s? I understand that some folks just don't like the new system, and some just don't like change... but I think that once he gets a feel for the new mechanics he'll dig it. Anyone have any advice on how to coax him into giving  it whirl??</p></blockquote><p></p>
