Cool Plastic Card Miniatures

Haven't been on for a few days and don't have a whole lot of time to see if anyone else has posted about this.....

Joe Wetzel, author of the excellent on-line mapping programs Dungeonographer and Hexographer has a new item he's running through Kickstarter: Plastic Card Miniatures. He needs $10,000 in Pledges by February 9 or this idea will not come to market.

I don't know about y'all, but I HATE cardboard mini's....they split apart easily and aren't heavy enough to stand up on their own (for the most part) and you can't mark on them and erase the markings. These are made with plastic roughly the thickness of a credit card. The artwork is really good & there are perks to pledging more money. I especially like that you get over 150 mini's for $30.00(US), and can get more of any specific monster available for $ .50. An additional $1.00 would get me a total of 24 kobolds.....and you can mark on them with a dry-erase marker which comes off when you're done....
