in mic their is a sleeping bag that lets you naturally heal twice as many hit points as normal for a night of rest. Very good for a game without a primary healer.

Hand of the Mage (mage hand at will) is cheap (900 gp), versitile, and stylish (it's a mummifed elf hand on a string -- who DOESN'T want one of those hanging around his neck?).

Horn of Fog.
Doesn't do too much, but I always thought that spewing a bunch of fog at oncoming enemies was a cool image.

Quall's Feather Token: Bird
Awesome communication device for scouts reporting to HQ. Have a message too important, or perhaps your situation is grim? Send the bird.

Bag of Tricks
I don't know why Roy of Order of the Stick fame is so down on his bag of tricks. Really: who needs a rogue when you've got a 10ft pole, 50ft of rope, and a Grey Bag of Tricks?

Feather Token: Tree. By far the most commonly stocked item for all of my PCs (other than potions/wands of healing).

QFT

I can't think of a single situation where that's been used where it hasn't been either

A) Useful or
B) Hilarious

Phylactery of Faithfulness: 1,000 gp.

Instantly resolving every argument or pitfall around alignment, religion membership, or paladin code -- intentional or magical -- priceless.
