Ahh, finally! It took a while, but we finally finished the module...and now, a couple of months later, I finally post the review. Bleh @ real life responsibilities and forgetting about this thread :( Anyway, the party had a very memorable experience in the dungeon. They tore through the gargoyles quite quickly and never had problems with traps - the rogue was PARANOID (having gone through Crypt of the Devil Lich at GenCon shortly before we started the module). The biggest problem they had was early in the module - they started at 13th level, and one of the PCs died vs. the Minotaur rogue. After he was Resurrected, though, he put the Blink Ring to good effect through the rest of the module. The cleric managed to snap the damaged longsword (Strength domain + natural 1) in the Hall of the Sword - that was hilarious. Then the Green Hag tried to sell them a line about how the sword was this holy artifact, etc. etc...and she managed to escape the combat when she tried to stab them in the back. She showed up later, only to meet her destiny. The party lost their cleric in battle a couple of times, but with Teleport to a friendly city available, True Resurrection kept them going. The worst part of the module was when three Vrocks managed to complete a Dance of Ruin - that nearly killed the party. Once they had suffered through the minotaur, the glabrezu, and the three vrocks (after killing the sorcerer and his henchmen), they went through the rest of the module with no problems - and that included a couple of extra Vrocks I threw into the climactic battle (heh, heh, heh...no Dance of Ruin there - the party slew them straightaway). All in all, it was fun and memorable. The party HATED some of the monsters they came across, and they were absolutely thrilled to finally slay Blasphemy! The best part was, they never killed the drow wizard. They left him alive in the study and even asked to buy magic items from him! After Blasphemy was dead, they helped him discover an alternative to the drug that Blasphemy had been providing him with.
