Core Races to Sport Muppet Voices

This Just In:
Following the recent Gnome/Tiefling Interview, Scott Rouse has now revealed that in 4th Edition all core races will now have Muppet voices.

"I mean, we had the tiefling in the video do her best Count voice from Sesame Street, and people really liked it. So we figure, why stop there?" Rouse went on to explain that from here on out:
- Humans will now sound like Ernie.
- Elves will all sound like Bert.
- Halflings will sound like Cookie Monster (C is for chaos, that's good enough for me!)
- Eladrin will sound like Big Bird.
- Tieflings, will of course, sound like the Count. (One fiery ray! Two fiery ray! Three fiery ray! Ha Ha!)
- Dwarves will sound like Oscar the Grouch.
- Dragonborn will sound like Kermit the Frog.
- Gnomes will now sound like Snuffaluffagus (the pre-"everybody can see him" version...)

Rouse then explained that this interview was brought to you by the letters B and S.

Haha, the best part of the the whole WotC little cartoon interview was the tiefling kicking the gnome's minion. I laughed out loud. The rest? Very tongue in cheek, which is fine I suppose. The voices were funny.

See, this is the main problem with 4E. They're trying to dictate everything to us!

I have always played elves like Statler and Waldorf, and there's no way I'm changing now. Looks like I'll have to stick to 3.x

The rest, however, are pretty much spot on.

I felt bad for the gnome. He said he was a monster, but...the dude just apparently lives in his hole in the ground with a much-put-upon badger sidekick. The message of this video is that PCs are the real monsters.

Mostly kidding. Seriously though, with all the accusations of evil-curious flying around, it wouldn't be too much to ask for a more heroic portrayal of the player characters. Poor gnome...

As usual the internet telephone game has a couple key points missing.

Warforged will use Sam the Eagle voice.

Gnomes will use the Beaker voice not snuffy as reported. Snuffy's voice will be reserved for a TBD monster type.

Goblins will use Animal

If you play a Bard (regardless of race) you must use Floyd or Janis (depending on gender)

Fey will use Elmo, Zoe, or Prairie Dawn.

We are also trying to figure out how and when to incorporate Gonzo, Fozzy Bear, Rowlf the Dog, Lew Zealand, Sweetums (most likely Giants), the Munumanum guy, Grover, The Amazing Mumford (spell casters?), and Miss Piggy.
