Message: <blockquote data-quote="StreamOfTheSky" data-source="post: 3224027" data-attributes="member: 35909"><p>I always liked the idea of a strictly Neutral death diety.  Like nature, death should be indifferent to good and evil, as well as ethical or moral outlooks.  While death may seem like an evil thing, I'm reminded of an old episode of either Hercules or Xena (forget which, they meld in my head) where death is captured and no one can be sent to the underworld.  Without death to release people from injuries and disease that SHOULD have killed them, horrific suffering and pain was the result.  Death can also be a release, even granting "freedom" perhaps, depending on your view of the afterlife.  The only creatures death should ever be "against" are those that try to cheat it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
