[QUOTE="OnlytheStrong, post: 3862099, member: 54781"] Garret Kage: [sblock=background story] Garret Kage was born in a small town in Oklahoma. He lived a rather average life, got good grades in school and played sports. He was a star football player, average at basketball and track. Garret's parents were typical. His father was a football coach for a small college, which Garret decided to walk on and play at. His mother was a teacher, working with first grade kids. They were far from rich, but lead a happy life. Garret had always wanted to be a police officer. He always felt like he needed to help people, to protect people. He had saved a lady's life once, by pulling her out of her burning car. He still had scars to show for his effort, but it was a reminder to him of how a single person can effect several people's lives. Garret joined the police force as soon as he graduated from college, and moved to Kansas City. He served for 2 years then applied to be in a SWAT unit. He was overjoyed when he learned he was accepted. His training was intense, but he loved every second of it. They quickened his reflexes, sharpened his mind, and made him deadly with a firearm. His first mission was an exciting time for him. He remembered thinking that he hoped he didn't have to use his firearm at all, but knew he would if he needed to. As luck would have it, he didn't need to fire his gun. The drug dealer they busted was asleep and too startled to do anything but complain. His most recent mission went differently. A couple of armed suspects had held hostages in a bank and had already shot a hostage. His 4 man team had been assigned the task of saving the rest of the hostages' lives. When they entered the bank, they split into two man teams and covered each side of the bank. When both teams were in position, Garret and the team leader threw flashbangs near the suspects. To Garret, the next moments passed nearly faster than his training had prepared him for. The suspects reacted to the flashbangs by firing their weapons, which promptly brought return fire on them. Garret double tapped his MP5, taking down a suspect. The other suspect was taken down by another member.
