They're wimps. I cut my teeth on them while protecting an egg-headed friend of mine (Erudite Enchanter). That's the closest they come to a D&D kobold.I've fought the kobolds in the sweltering hell known as Solusek. They're much tougher, smarter buggers. And they're usually smart enough to remember you if you feign death. (I played a monk. I could solo them once I got into the mid-40s, so that's about level 18 or so in D&D terms. It helped that I was a guild monkey and had great equipment.)Worst of all, I've fought the ice-spawned kobolds of Velketor's Laboratory. They're tough, vicious, and fast. They have more lasting power than the toughest barbarians and they require entire parties to reliably clear. (OOC: At least six people in the 50+ range -- that would be low-epic in D&D terms. And heaven have mercy on you if you don't have an enchanter.)Everquest is actually a decent game system. And the best part is that you get rid of the annoying people that tried to spoil it for everyone else.</blockquote>
