If 4th Edition is not changed enough to invalidate 3/3.5 then there is nothing for WotC to sell beyond the core 4th Ed. rulebooks. So you are back to square one.</p><p></p><p>If it is changed enough to invalidate 3/3.5 then it alienates those gamers, who have no cause to repurchase the same material.</p><p></p><p>So the pen & paper idea is a Catch 22.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Aw c'mon Dungeons & Dinosaurs is great!
