Couldn't this D&D "Minotaur" mini easily be a Gor Beastman in WFRP?

IMO, his horns look much more goat/ram-like than most minotaurs. Therefore, I think he would make a good Gor beastman in WFRP. I am purchasing him to use as a Gor Beastman in my 54mm scale WFRP games.

He is the Minotaur from the "Giants of Legend" D&D collection. He is a large-size D&D miniature.

Opinions?

He should be okay. I doubt you'd get away with him in a game that GW's actually running, but as long as it roughly matches your other similar minis you should be fine.

The one other thing I can think of is that he'll always have to use a Great weapon, but that's probably not a big deal.

So far, I am not using any GW minis to play WFRP. I am using all 54mm (or similar scale) miniatures since I prefer larger miniatures. The only 54mm minis that GW offers are from it's Inquisitor line and they are very expensive. I play all my games solo using the Mythic Game Master Emulator. However, I am trying to match creature models as close as possible to Warhammer creatures. I am also trying to purchase minis that are reasonably priced.

Other than this Minotaur, I haven't found any other reasonably priced beastman-looking characters that would work with 54mm scale characters. All the other D&D Minotaurs have very bull-looking horns.

The Anime-ish Collectable mini game Navia Dratp had an awesome beastman that would look great at 54mm scale. "Nebgard"

Here is someone who painted this fig.

I think the fig is in this box set. [ Fig beneath girl with blue hair]

You might be able to find it cheaper though.

Here is an obese beastman in the same line of figs.

Hmmm.....no where does it give the measurements for those "Navia Drapt" figures, so there's no way to know if they are in fact 54mm scale. Anyways, IMO the D&D Giants of Legend Minotaur looks way cooler than that "Nebguard" figure. Thanks for the info though.
