Message: <blockquote data-quote="maddman75" data-source="post: 369421" data-attributes="member: 2673">IMC,It depends on the situation.  Who are these bugbears?  Are the merely random creatures?  In that case, for all the party knows they could just be minding their own business, not bothering anybody.  In this case, Couping them merely so you don't have to deal with them when it would be jsut as easy to leave them be would be evil.Also, where is the group?  If you are within the king's domain, killing them when capture and trial would be just as easy, if more of a bother, is a chaotic act.  Still trouble for a paladin.If however, the Bugbears have been raiding and pillaging the innocents, not only is it acceptable for the paladin to kill them, but it is his sacred duty to do so.Everything depends on context.</blockquote>
