Spoilers Below! I remembered I had read your questions before I even started NWN, and when I finally faced her at the end of Ch4, I was prepared to try the dialog over and over to see if I managed to convince her. Oddly enough from what I expected, she surrendered at the first attempt ;) I have no idea why it would have been easier if I had been a male, but sounds like she gives male characters a special ring at some point? However I was very high in Diplomacy, not maxed-out however but about 12-14 ranks with Charisma 14, but most importantly I had at least +5 to Diplomacy from items. I can check out the exact number if you are curious. It looks like after convincing Aribeth to surrender you have more than one following options, or at least it seems so: you can (1) ask her to join forces with you and battle Morag together, but I have the feeling that she would probably refuse (not because of story reasons, but rather because the game mechanics won't probably allow her to join... at least I haven't seen any NPC ever joining me beside the obvious henchman). Instead, I followed the route of (2) asking her to surrender to Lord Nasher and accept eventually to be executed. Aribeth accepts and goes back to the material world, but then I haven't seen her anymore. Aarin Gend and Lord Nasher don't tell about Aribeth's fate, simply because when you talk back with them they haven't decided yet if Aribeth should be executed or forgiven (Lord Nasher says he would normally have executed her, but after his mistake with Fenthick he's not sure anymore). edit: you can also (3) suggest her to flee freely to avoid facing punishment In the end I was disappointed not to know what happened :p and not to see ANY mention of Aribeth in the closing titles of the game...
