Craft Skill - mechanically broken

There are similar rules in "Masters of the Wild" book. They reguard creation of Infusions (basically scrolls made from herbs). Anyway, the rules say the DC= 10 + spell level * 2. Then you multiply the cost to create * 10. That's the target number, with a roll *DC (if successful) subracting from that number and representing 1 week's work.

So, if you were a 20th level druid making a 9th level infusion (remember, it's just like a scroll) with a skill of 28 (which is also the DC) it would take 43 weeks if you take 10, or 34 weeks if you rolled a 20 every roll. (Assuming my drunk math is right!)

For a wizard, it just takes about 10 days to do the exact same thing. A bit bogus, no?
