The magic items crafting system didn't use any roll, and criticism was less uniform (i.e. people had different ideas about what was wrong with it).As  [MENTION=7175]jadrax[/MENTION] pointed out, we do have munda items crafting rules in 5e, and they are very simple (perhaps this is why they are easy to overlook). In fact they are similar to 3e magic items crafting rules, in the sense that no roll is every required. Just spend time and money, and you get your item crafted.</blockquote>
