Crayola Dry Erase Crayons FTW!

No problems with hard to remove chunks sticking in the impression graph lines on the battle boards? Sorry, I'm picturing something like wax crayons here, and wax crayons are what us old timers used to color in the numbers on those old polyhedrals back in the day, simply because the wax didn't come out easily.

No problems. Not wax at all. Much softer and soluble with liquids. Works great on Dry Erase including my boards.

I use the Crayola Washable markers and they're great on my Chessex battlemaps. Unlike the water-based overhead pens, the Crayolas don't leave "ghost" marks for colors (e.g., red is really bad) the way overhead pens do.

I've been very happy with the Crayola markers and they're also a lot cheaper and available in a lot more colors.

Thumbs up!
