There are a few great combat moves in our past. Here are some of my favorites at least. The party is fighting a green dragon thats attacking the home town of the Half-Elf/Half-Gold Dragon Evoker. After a long fight, the party and the dragon are both hurt. The dragon takes flight and starts to run. No one could fly anymore. The Evoker looks at his left over spells and calculates how far the dragon could go. He takes the three rounds he needs, casts Shocking Grasp into both claws and then dimension doors ten feet over the dragon. He drives on top, by-passing the SR, and hits with both claws and Shocking Grasps and both he and the dragon come tumbling down. The party got a Dragonskin Studded Leather and Dragon-Hide Breastplate from that fight. The party is fighting an Ogre Mage's goons while the Ogre Mage and his main backup prep in the last fight of a campaign. The Psion sends his Psicrystal into the room and asks for a description. After hearing that there is a rather large table and throne in there, he promply sneaks over to a better view and throws the throne onto a sorcerer in the room with telekinesis. A Sorcerer that would have hurt the party very badly, now is trapped under the throne due to a poor strength and dies from crushing damage. The party is fighting in a large throne room. We get seperated because of a mechanical door. There is a druid, a paladin, a ranger, and a psion (nomad) in the room. We are being pelted with arrows from high up, the enemy is charging, a Dire Ape was summoned, and everyone is low on HP. The Paladin (me) prays to his god, looks at the Dire Ape (who is standing right in front of a statue), and bull rushes into it. I roll a natural 20, pushing the Ape into the statue, knocking said statue tumbling down and making a bridge to the upper level, and hurting the Ape. With the next attack, I used every power I had and killed the Ape the following round. I had one HP left. Later we faced another giant summoned thing and again I got lucky. So from now on if someone summons something big there is usually a clear path between it and me. The party is fighting in tight quarters and only the Orc Fighter can really fight. The elven monk behind him grabs his broom (used as a quarterstaff), hops ontop the Orc's shoulders, and begins fighting the monsters ontop of the Orc, rolling balance checks each round.
