Crazy Concept Art - MONSTERS!

Wow wow wow. Really, some of these artists should be commissioned for a D&D book. The quality of some of them is fantastic, especially the big, epic monsters.

they would, except... budget must be considered. Lately wizards though seem to have been putting more cash into paying better artists, or they just have just stopped using their regulars (from phb and the compleats).

It really shows how much the art of d&d gets cheated, doesent it? Its sometimes hard to look at the best of the best, and then go back.

Well, a fair number of artists on that site DO have works in WOTC books. I saw Eric Lofgren (sp) on there, and Matt Dixon both feature in a number of WOTC books. (Note, Matt Dixon is the second pic in the lineup. :) )

So much for the whole, WOTC art is crap thing. ;)

Holy mother! I cannot believe the talent showcased by that site. Man!

For those who checked out the D&D preveiws, anyone notice the Skav- er, ratman? :D:D

cheers,

I'm like going, "what's a ratling doing there?"

Elton.

I love the Venomous Bird. :D I think I need that baleful green eye staring at me all the time... *goes to make some wallpaper*

edit: hmm...or perhaps the Snowball of Pain. I wonder which one will inspire me to work harder.
