Creating some drama as a player!

First Post
So heres the deal: Because the evil druid stole my money, I decided (level 5 female wizard, has two personalities, an evil illusionist and a good regular... wizard. We got alot of money from the loot we got in a previous encounter (which involved a cart full of items, including magic ones!)
He stole the most of my part.. But I want to teach him a lesson

It will also be a big plot twist, since we are in a dungeon under a tower...
Creating my own drama and a new plot

..So should I turn invisible and steal it?
Use hold person and stick explosive runes onto him?
Or perhaps just make him read a note with a sepia snake segil
(3,5 edition d&d)

Thanks!
Ideas appreciated

I'm not a big fan of player vs player in D&D, but the best plans have style. Lure him into a fabulous trap that cons him out of his money and magic items and then leaves him helpless somewhere that only you can help save him -- and then tell him that he shouldn't steal what's yours.

How do you suggest making a fabolous trap?
would be kind of hard holding him (hold person) and take his stuff then give him a note with sepia snake segil, because he will save against it kind of easily

Well, the wizard is at least a part-time illusionist, so I wouldn't bother casting spells on the druid. Cast illusions on yourself or on items, and con him out of his possessions.

Has this druid ever shown a desire for body part-replacing artifacts, a la the Hand or Eye of Vecna? If so, perhaps you can interest him in the even-more-awesome Head of Vecna!

Well, regardless of what you choose to do, I might recommend waiting until you're out of the dungeon. When you're in a hostile environment (and at the mercy of your DM) is not really an ideal time to be hatching nefarious plots against your allies. I don't think it'd benefit anybody except whichever horrible beastie comes along to munch upon you in your weakened state.

So my advice is, if you're really set on this whole PvP thing, play nice for a while, and lull your druid buddy into a false sense of security. Let him pick on you some more if he wants. Then, once you've thwarted the local baddies and made your triumphant way back to town, you can stick an apple pie in his inn bed. Or whatever floats your boat.

I can't help but feel, though, that nothing good has ever come of a plot thread starting with 'another player stole my loot and now I wanna get my own back'. Sounds like a recipe for entirely the wrong sort of drama to me...

You should wait until its your turn on watch duty and while he's sleeping slit his throat and take back your stuff. He'll learn after you raise him back one level lower than before ;)

Well, at least until he doesn't heal you anymore, but you can buy some items to cover off your healing.
