Creatures of the Positive and Negative Energy planes

BOZ

Creature Cataloguer
Shade and I were putting together a list of creatures found on the energy planes that need to be converted to 3E. There are, after all, very few creatures from these planes (largely because of the hostility of their natures) so it would make sense to find out what is missing.

We were also going to get a list going of all the current 3E denizens of these planes.

I think for the Negative Plane it would be best to avoid undead, as they already are assumed to live there. The list below does include a few, just for completeness.
What pre-3E creatures are we missing? Note that the Quasielemental Planes are listed in parentheses, as they could be used on the Energy Planes.

Any Inner Plane:
Chososion (PSMCIII)
Entrope (PSMCIII)
Menglis (PSMCIII)
Opposition (PSMCIII)

Positive:
Chamrol (Dragon #174) (Radiance)
Darklight (PSMCIII) (Radiance)
Energy Pod (Dragon #174) (Radiance)
Klyndes (PSMCIII) (Steam)
Mrebb (PSMCIII) (Radiance) [Hazard listed in appendix]
Scile (PSMCIII) (Radiance)
Shocker (PSMCIII) (Lightning)
Spined Shard (Dragon #174) (Radiance)
Tsnng (PSMCIII) (Mineral)
Wavefire (PSMCIII) (Steam)

Negative:
Arashaeem (Savage Coast)
Balhiir (Hall of Heroes/Villains' Lorebook)
Colfel (Dragon 56)
Diurge (Dragon #141)
Drelb (1E MM2)
Egarus (PSMCIII) (Vacuum)
Facet (PSMCIII) (Salt)
Golem, Black (Dun #14)
Odic (Dungeon #21, various Mystara products)

Sand Bride (Dark Sun MC12)
Shimmering Wraith/Wrath (Dungeon #26, MCA1)
Spectral Death (Mystara Appendix)
Vacuous (PSMCIII) (Vacuum)

The shocker is in RttToEE.

The positive and negative energons are in MotP. A few other weirdos are out there in WotC 3e monster books already, but I assume you left them off the list exactly because of this. :)

Here's what I've gathered in 3.x:

Negative Energy Plane
Energon, Xeg-Yi
Entropic Creature (Planar Handbook)
Orb Wraith (COTSQ)
Slow Shadow (DUN #112)
Spectre
Trilloch (MM3)
Vampire Spawn
Void Ooze (Planar Handbook)
Wight
Winterwight (ELH)
Wraith

Positive Energy Plane
Crystal Screamer (Bastion of Broken Souls)
Energon, Spiritovore, Soulsipper (Bastion of Broken Souls)
Energon, Spiritovore, Soulmarauder (Bastion of Broken Souls)
Energon, Spiritovore, Soulscaper (Bastion of Broken Souls)
Energon, Xag-ya
Glimmerskin (MM2)
Lumi (MM3)
Lumi Crusader (MM3)
Ravid
Vivacious Creature (Planar Handbook)

The Menglis was renamed the 'Unraveller' in 3.5, and appears in the Planar Handbook.

I vaguely recall that the 'Slow Shadow' was a native of the negative energy plane, but was not an undead, though often confused with undead shadows.

The Wavefire is also a wierd case, because it's not presumed to be a creature of Quasielemental Steam (Pos Energy + Water) but a bizarre relic of a period of time during which the current alignment of the inner planes was different, when Fire and Water bordered, with the wavefire being something of a paraelemental of those two mixed together. So that taken, I'd avoid the association with + energy if you were looking for pos energy critters... or I might be splitting hairs. ;)

If the Opposition made the list, I'd add the Primals as well since they're an inner planar sect scattered across all the various inner planes (and boy did I have fun with them and their politics across the cardinal elements in my 1st storyhour).
