D&D 3.5 game held from 8PM-Midnight on Monday nights. First session started 12/26/05. Recruiting 1-3 more players to supplement group; need a healer character (cleric or druid) and a martial character or two. Players are starting from scratch as first level characters currently. The campaign is based on source material from Green Ronin's "Freeport: City of Adventure" but does not adhere to its published adventures. The campaign has a heavy nautical theme. Play is via Klooge.werks software, not OpenRPG. The software may be downloaded for free from http://www.kloogeinc.com; players accepted to the campaign may play as my guests and need not purchase their own licenses. Campaign-specific source material can be found here: http://www.unclebear.com/otaku/index.htm IF YOU WISH TO JOIN, PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO THE YAHOO! GROUP HERE: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/freeport/ Please first read the campaign material linked above, and describe your age, experience with D&D and online tabletop RPGing software,a nd what sort of character you wish to play. Summary of First Session: CASTAWAYS, Session 1: Three young adventurers had hired on as crew aboard the Venerable Drake, a ship bound for Freeport through the pirate-infested waters of the Sea of Valossa. These were Autbertus, a human monk; Gythos, an elven sorceror, and Derbo, a gnome bard. The ship did not encounter pirates, but after a week at sea it encountered something far worse: the Great Leviathan, the impossibly large legendary sea-beast that devours ships whole. All three were washed overboard by a wave generated by Leviathan's enormous fluke, and watched helpless from the water as the Leviathan swallowed their ship whole.
