There's some problems with such a chart. I'll illustrate why 29. You spin to the side to avoid a well delivered attack. You hear a rip and you realize your opponent caught you pack or pouch and its contents are spilling on the ground. But its a black pudding! 30. Your opponents attack severs a strap on your armor. Lose 1 to your AC until a smith can repair the strap DC 10. But its a suprise round, he doesn't even know I'm there! 31. Is that a rock in your shoe move at ¾ movement until you can remove your shoe. I have a fly spell on. 32. Your mind wanders perplexed by the stress of recent events. Lose any actions until your turn next round. 33. That barmaid from the other day, she was beautiful wasn’t she? What the hell are you doing man, you are in the middle of combat. Lose any actions until your turn next round. You had better stay focused. But I have a concentration of +25! 34. Do you have two left feet? Well, you had better check because you barely managed to avoid falling on your face. Lose any further actions until your turn next round. 35. Your weapon bobbles in your hand nearly falling to the ground. You firmly reestablish your hold and continue on. I have a Dex of 22 and a balance and tumble of 15+ You get the point? Any crit miss chart I've seen suffers from the same problem. It would be doable with no magic and no monsters, but what fun would that be? Otherwise there are going to be more rolls that don't make any sense than ones that do. Here's what I use for critical misses. In melee, you open yourself up and give the enemy you were attacking an attack of opportunity. Missile, if possible, you either hit an ally in your field of fire or some object in the area. To keep things flavorful, I also reserve the right to make something else happen - but usually a simple AoO is pretty effective.
