Yeah, this seems like a pretty solid guess. Interesting party spreads if true! We’ve got… Two paladins (one of whom is multiclassed with sorcerer), a rogue, and a ranger for the soldiers. Strong DPS and some healing capabilities, but very limited AoE potential. Though the ranger and partial sorcerer do bring a little of that, so it’s probably fine. Two warlocks, a wizard, a paladin, a fighter/rogue, and maybe a cleric for the Schemers. Squishy-looking party, but maybe that won’t be a problem since they will tend to be more focused on social interaction than combat. And if they do end up in any fights, at least they have good firepower. Sam would bring some extra survivability via healing if he’s part of that group, otherwise it’d all be on one paladin… unless Tyranny is a Celestial warlock I guess, at which point I think they’d be a surprisingly robust group. Two wizards, a bard, a druid, and maybe a cleric for the Seekers is a ton of magic and zero frontliners, but again, combat isn’t their main focus so that might not actually be a problem. In fact, lots of magical utility is exactly what you’d want for a lore hunting focused group. It is a small group though, unless Sam is part of it. I kind of wonder if Taliesin might actually be a Seeker, because with his sky-high bonuses in Arcana and Religion, he’s likely to be well-suited to passing the knowledge checks I would expect such a group to frequently be needing to make. And maybe it’s recency bias, but his reaction to “I’ll give you two out of three between the target, the cause, and the effect” makes me feel like he really wants to be learning all the secrets he can.
