Crouching Tiger Style Prestige Class

First Post
First of all, we are not using the Book of the Nine Sword.

Second I have a character that really wants to be a crouching tiger/hidden dragon style fighter. Someone that can walk on air.

Where can I find an appropriate prestige classes?

Ah, and there I was about to recommend the Tome of Battle to you.

Can you use Oriental Adventures perhaps? I remember the Blade Dancer prestige class from that book having a very C.T.H.D type feel to it. It had a very intense run speed and I think around +20 to jump/tumble/balance which, in combination with some skill tricks from Complete Scoundrel could let you run up the walls so to say.
Skill Tricks
Walk the Walls: Lets you run up walls at 4x cost of movement
Wall Jumper: Lets you bounce back and forth ninja style between walls as if you had a running start.
Extreme Leap: Lets you get an extra 10 ft movement if you include a jump in your action.
Or maybe a Ninja (Complete Adv.) / Monk with the feat from Complete Scoundrel that lets some of their class abilities stack? Eberron has some feats to let you flurry with a longsword I think.

You can cover some of this with a psychic warrior with careful power and feat selection.

I'll second this. Those listed abilities are achieveable at first level, even, if you're human. It also includes feats for the 'Dragon Fist' attack or any signature 'power move' with psionic fist, psionic weapon, unavoidable strike, depimpact ... I'm sure there's more. It's all in the SRD.

Yeah, a psychic warrior with Up the Walls as one of his feats is very stylistically like what you're going for. Even if you don't use psionics, you might want to see if your dm will make an exception for you to take Wild Talent and then Up the Walls; he might go for it on flavor.

Can you use Dragon Magazines?

Issue #289 was a huge article all about wuxia that you can use for inspiration and ideas. It also has the Weightless Foot PrC which has everything you need - although it is everything you need in a 3.0 kinda way. I suggest updating.

Hey, that's perfect. Thanks!

Has anyone converted this to 3.5. The class seems a bit over the top. I think +20 skill bonuses are probably a 3.0 thing.
