It can learn a limited vocabulary of words (50-75wds) with which it communicates along with its colour display (see note).</p><p></p><p>Although normally sombre, CrowKoDiles have a magic control over the colour of their plumage. When pleased they will shimmer in waves of orange and green. They have a chameleonlike ability that grants them a +4 racial bonus on Hide checks. *In forests or overgrown areas, this bonus improves to +8.</p><p></p><p>The have a disturbing taste for carrion and prey in early decomposition. Like their crocodile parents crowkodiles prefer to store their kills for between 3 days and a week to soften them up. The hen finds a lair or digs a tunnel when it is ready to lay eggs.
