When the Heads Breath, do they all breath at once or do they breath Individualy?

ie 6 Headed CryoHydra Breaths 6 times for 3D6 Damage DC18 saves each breath, or Must is Breath all at once for 18D6 Damage DC18 Save?

The phrase that concerns me, "All heads breathe once every 1d4 rounds. Each jet deals 3d6 damage per head. ... The Save DC is 10 + Con modifier + 1/2 # of original heads."

The 12 Headed beastie could breath all at once for 36D6 not too shabby for a CR 13

They can breathe at any time, in any combo. I belive that they like to all breathe together in round one, but nothing is stopping you from dividing it up.

Pesonally, I keep them together, as tracking individual heads would be to damn much.

Me, Personally, I'd do it in paterns. That way atleast one head is Always breathing, while there are always others biting. Imagine two heads pinning down a target, while the third breathes on it. If they're still grappled by the two heads, have both heads Breathe on the pinned character.

Personally, I like keeping track of the individual heads. Sure, it can be a pain, but it's not like i use this creature every week. The players really like the added details of being able to know where the heads are and to use strategy depending on the locations of the heads.
