And BTW, Albert_Fish: Yer darn tootin' that Nyarlathotep (and Azathoth, Shub-Niggurath, and Yog-Sothoth) are more powerful than Cthulhu. That is a substantially closer-to-Lovecraft interpretation of the powers and status of the Mythos entities ("more accurate" or "more faithful" are inapposite terms in light of the fact that the Mythos is an "anti-mythology" that has no real consistency). Cthulhu is an incredibly powerful alien entity that is the high priest of the Great Old Ones; he isn't an Elder God or Outer God like ol' Nyarly.
Also, as CWD said: The stats are for wacky D&D gamemasters who want to pit Mythos entities against their PCs. The Great Old Ones and Outer Gods in the core CoC rules are beyond statistical definition 'cause they're just that scary. Heh...
