Keep in mind that it will be 320 pages of madness and tentacles. I am anticipating that the book will be on par (visually) with the FRCS, and you won't have to pay $40 for it. See Derek's post above...

My birthday is the 5th of April (the big five-oh) and I already told my wife that I hoped for something with tentacles ... so it looks like it will be a popular birthday present. :)

Yeah, you really can't beat a pet octopus. They're real popular this year....

:D :D :D :D :D

320 pages for 40$ sounds good to me. What truly interests me is to see if they've been successful in using the class/level system for a non-heroic game. I heard they changed the experience system quite a bit. Anyone knows more?

I read about it recently (in Dragon? can't recall).

I do not think they changed the exp system. They changed how you make your character.

Instead of classes, you have a basic structure and a class construction kit. You want all good saves? No problem, you probably won't be able to be a very good BAB. It was only a brief intro to the idea, so I can't speak to any specifics.

This is so gearing me up for tons of possibilities.

Evil Dead is released Tues on Special Ed so hey a light bulb pops up.
Resident Evil but I think Modern will be better or something else.
Jeepers Creepers even though the movie wasn't any good.
Lastly Friday the 13th...think about it it could be done with Cthulu.
Can you tell I work in a movie store?
