His ranger didn't die, but managed to get an entire tower dropped on him, dealing enough subdual damage to keep him asleep for a week, then lost his mind to some arcane Cthuluian tome tucked away in the Reality Wrinkle while I was running Speaker in Dreams… He's the (not yet rolled) in the current party listing, at the moment.
*The main party* Elf Cleric (Healing & War Domains) 7 Falatar Dwarf (psionic sub-race) Psychic Warrior 6 Human Paladin 6 (New char not yet rolled) *Our off and on players* Kakrali (Ever see ninja scroll? A template I build to emulate the first demon, the rock guy, ECL +4) Monk 2 Half Elf Bard 6 *The Morgue* Minocans (smaller, aquatic minotuar, +4 ECL)/ Fighter 1 / Psychic Warrior 2 Halfling Rogue 6 Bakail (Lizard Man, +3 ECL) Barbarian 2 / Fighter 2 Halfling Rogue 6 All the above were the Subject to a near Total Party Killing, along with a NPC gray-elf Deviner 5, due to poor judgement on my part and lack of preparation on theirs (and the lack of our two off and on players that night). The cleric was the only survivor. Malos Halfling (sub race, has a tail and some other odd features) Rogue 5 Elf Druid 6 Elf Rogue 6 *Not Quite Dead* Human Ranger 6 All four chars above are played by the same person. I can't really say what his position in the party is generally referred to with Eric's Grandmother reading... He lost his first halfling rogue during the second combat encounter of the campaign (Never leave the area of your cleric's protection from evil when summoned elementals are about). Lost his druid due to an unfortunate incident with a scrag (always check the AC of a creature before you choose to wild-shape into one). Lost the elf rogue with a very stupid move(Never pick someone's pocket in front of the head of the town guard, particularly when he's just looking for a reason to start something with out-of-towners) before he could even join the party, literarly within 30 seconds of finshing rolling him up... Managed to get his new halfling rogue to the near TPK only because I felt bad for him and fudged a die roll (Well... actually I just had far more fun watching someone with a 1 con try and hold their breath and swim against a waterfall underwater with a swam of scruges just above the surface than I would have if I had just let his con drop to 0 and had him die of blood-loss) only to die in an area of effect spell.
