Custom Character Busts? (ADDED NEW PICS - 12/03/03)!

Trying to gague some general reaction here - if priced within reason, would you buy a character bust for your favorite character, or is that a bit over the top, even for us gamers?

Taking this as a general question, rather than to your particular artwork, buying any art is a very subjective experience.

I can say that I would only buy "good" art, but what does "good" mean? There are artists that I like, others that I don't, and my tastes do not mesh perfectly with others.

In any case, I would have to judge (or comission) individuals pieces of art, rather than answering the question in a general manner.

I once worked for an online game company which had small iconic representations of the characters. I actually commissioned one of the company's artists to make a large pen and ink drawing of the character.

So yes ... I might consider it if I thought the character worth it.

no, no, no. i have a student who is good with this, but i think i would be the wrong guy.

this student has done the lt. governor and many other since he started a bit back, he is amazingly good, and has an intuitive slant to his work that i adore.

i can help here, but i don't know if i am the guy you want making your bust
