Here's a custom prestige class for my homebrew campaign, geared towards a "holy monk" type, following a path of wandering the world meting out their god's justice. Name: Lawbringer REQUIREMENTS: Alignment: any lawful Base Attack Bonus: +5 Feats: Dodge, Mobility, Combat Reflexes Class Abilities: Ki strike(magic), smite ability --- Hit die: d8 Skills per level: 2 + Int bonus Class skill list: Heal, Jump, Knowledge(nobility), Knowledge(religion), Listen, Spot, Swim, Tumble A Lawbringer is proficient with no armor or shields. A Lawbringer is proficient with all martial weapons. Level BAB F/R/W Class Ability 1 +1 0/2/0 Lay on Hands 2 +2 0/3/0 +5 competence bonus to Heal and Knowledge(religion) checks 3 +3 1/3/1 Fast Movement +10 ft 4 +4 1/4/1 Smite chaotic 1/day(Cha bonus to attack, prestige class level to damage) 5 +5 1/4/1 Unarmed damage increase 6 +6 2/5/2 +5 competence bonus to Jump and Tumble checks 7 +7 2/5/2 Fly 1/day(caster level = prestige class level) 8 +8 2/6/2 Ki strike(lawful) 9 +9 3/6/3 Fast Movement +10 ft 10 +10 3/7/3 Unarmed damage increase Lay on Hands (Su): Beginning at 1st level in the prestige class, a Lawbringer with a Charisma score of 12 or higher can heal wounds (her own or those of others) by touch. Each day she can heal a total number of hit points of damage equal to her Lawbringer level x her Charisma bonus. A Lawbringer may choose to divide her healing among multiple recipients, and she doesn’t have to use it all at once. Using lay on hands is a standard action. If the Lawbringer possesses this ability as a paladin, their paladin levels stack with their Lawbringer levels. Alternatively, they can use any or all of this healing power to deal damage to undead creatures. Using lay on hands in this way requires a successful melee touch attack and doesn’t provoke an attack of opportunity. The Lawbringer decides how many of her daily allotment of points to use as damage after successfully touching an undead creature. Fast Movement (Ex): At 3rd level and at 9th level, the Lawbringer gains an enhancement bonus to speed. The Lawbringer does not gain this bonus in medium or heavy armor. Ki Strike (Su): At 8th level, the Lawbringer's unarmed attacks are treated as lawful weapons for purposes of overcoming damage reduction. Unarmed Damage Increase (Ex): at 5th and 10th levels, the Lawbringer's unarmed damage increases one step as if they had gained this ability through the monk class. Smite chaotic 1/day (Su): Once per day, a Lawbringer may attempt to smite a chaotic creature with one normal melee attack. She adds her Charisma bonus (if any) to her attack roll and deals 1 extra point of damage per Lawbringer level. If the Lawbringer accidentally smites a creature that is not chaotic, the smite has no effect, but the ability is still used up for that day. Thoughts?
