customizable random treasure genarator?

I've been rolling up the contents of giant's bags as I am gming Against the Giants, and it is taking more time than I thought. Looking ahead in the modules....there are a few hundred of these things.

I've found plenty of online random treasure generators but I haven't found one for giant bags.

Anyone know of one? or an easy to customize generator program?

I don't know of any generators for the bags in G1, but you could create one easily in TableSmith (link in my .sig). It could look something like this:

:Start
1-3,old axe blade for use as hand chopper
4-17,boulders, small ({Dice~1d4})
18-19,bowl and spoon, [MetalType], battered
...

:MetalType
1,tin
2,pewter

etc.

It would take about 5-10 minutes to write up the table. You could then tweak it to tastes - adding/removing items, changing descriptions (like "{Dice~1d4} small boulders" for the second item if you wish), etc.

If you use a PC at the gaming table you could generate the contents as they're found. If not, you could generate a big list and print it out beforehand.

Actually there are quite a few options to handle this task..

Table Smith, Table Generator and Inspiration Pad

Can you tell me a bit about this .net framework stuff?

I don't want to trash my comp by trying to install it if that is a possiblity....

The .Net Framework is a basically a set of libraries from Microsoft to run software created using their newer developer tools (granted, that's a very oversimplified explanation).

Are you using Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista? If so, you already have the .Net Framework.
