Any books out there? Any coming?

Yeah, there is. The guys over at Living Room Games have a book that's on the shelf right now. Digital Burn is the title of their d20 Modern cyberpunk game.

It's on my Christmas list :)

I looked at it today at the FLGS and promptly placed it back on the shelf. I wasn't impressed.

Regarding Cyberware for d20M all the Cyberware listed in the original Cyber Style: Prime Rules will be revised and updated to work with the d20 Modern rules and will be released as part of the revised and expanded product. Cyber Style which is due for release soon.

Digital Burn

I just picked this up today. No real opinion yet but some observations.

1. $35 is too much for this book. $25 or even $30 would have been a lot better.

2. Cybernetics rules are hard to follow. I've been sick so maybe it's just me.

3. I don't care for the photos all that much.

This probably isn't what you're looking for but I like the spellware from Dragonstar. It's cool and generally well balanced. Hopefully FFG will come out with a big book of spellware sometime.

Factory will contain magical cybernetics (dweoware)

The next book from Perpetrated Press is FACTORY, a compendium of magical computers, robotics, and dweoware.

Dweonetics is the science of magical cybernetics, infusing magical items directly into biologic subjects. There will be more than 200 different pieces of dweoware in the book.

Information for using the dweoware in a d20 Modern campaign will be included.

FACTORY will be released in March, 2003.

I have am working on my own d20 Modern Cybernetic Source book that people can download. It has new feats, new skills, over 140 Cybernetic, Biotech, and Nanotech augmentation items, Bioroid templates, and a couple new advance classes to fit the theme. I should be finished with the second rough draft by the end of the month, next week at the earliest.

The first rough draft can be downloaded here...

Not that it's a book unto itself, but Mecha Crusade, the d20 Modern minigame in a recent Dungeon/Ployhedron had a Cyborg advanced class with some cyberware rules.

You probably are already aware of it, but since no one mentioned it, I figured I'd throw it out there. :)
