Message: <blockquote data-quote="IdentityCrisis" data-source="post: 1745334" data-attributes="member: 16089">I apologize, KL.  The first week of school hit me much harder than I anticipated.  This is my first time taking 19 hours in one semester and I have a long commute on top of it (an hour each way).  I'm starting to look for a local apartment to make things easier, but the above is why I haven't been responding.I should be able to read the board and post occasionally easily enough, but I still don't have time to go over the Eberron setting thouroughly.  So we can do this one of two ways:1) We can take the character more or less as is using your proposed backstory (your idea works for me) and fill me in as we go.  Since my character is as ignorant as I am this could be done in-character.  If we assume she just reached civilization her equipment is easy; take away all her starting money (her captors wouldn't have left her with any), give her a backpack with a change of clothes or two and assume that everything she has is what her rescuers were able to spare for her.2) If this sounds inconvenient you can just give my slot to someone else.  Since the problems are on my end I'll understand completely.</blockquote>
