As such, Rawhide does not bathe (at least willingly), nor brush his scraggly, frazzled hair, nor does he clean his teeth, his hands, his gear, or even his food before consuming it. He has no manners to speak of, though he has managed to learn that there are a few things that will quickly spell danger or death in civilized lands (just because he knows these things, however, does not always mean he follows them...). Born into bondage within the horrific goblinoid slave pits of Rhukaan Draal - his mother (who was raped and beaten daily as he grew up) was captured from Breland during the Last War. She always told Rawhide that he was the child of shifter lords and that no matter what, if he should some day escape, he should go to the far off place called "the Reaches", claim his birthright, and then return to avenge her.
