[QUOTE="crazy_monkey1956, post: 3531663, member: 49514"] Helfdan: I like it. In all honesty, since you're the first one in with full stats, I'd rather you just stuck with Valen. The only tweak I need is to remove the mention of goblinoids from his background. The goblinoids dwell on their own island-continent far to the south east and while goblinoid armies fought in the Shadow War, they only made it as far as the orcish lands and Thay. Turen sent an army to Azgund's aid so there are many Tureni war veterans, but no actual fighting took place on Tureni soil. Also, the mention of the White Huntress in your background needs to be tweaked ever so slightly. Up until the revelation of her true nature, which was kept somewhat under wraps by the druidic hierarchy, the White Huntress was seen as a benefactor and source of folk wisdom. Most Tureni common folk still hold to that belief and the druids have yet to determine exactly how they intend to handle the revelation of her evil nature and subsequent demise at the hands of the Silver Shadow. Arkhandus and All: The main Adventurer's Guild HQ, so to speak, is in the Azgundi capital, about a week's ride from the mountains in the east, and about three weeks ride from the western coast of Azgund. The Guild also has offices in Azgund's two major port cities and had, up until the Shadow War, an enclave in Thay, though that operation was shut down and hastily evacuated when Thay marched on the Emirates and was subsequently attacked by the goblinoid armies. Yttermayn: A centaur would certainly be intriguing, although there will be some logistics issues in that the crux of the adventure takes place in mountainous terrain, which will be difficult for a centaur to navigate. I will post my 3.5 revision of the centaur monster class from Savage Species some time over the weekend if you're still wanting to go with it. Centaurs in this world are members of a loose confederation of sylvan creatures known as The Sylvan Court deep within the central forests of the elven continent. The Sylvan Court generally avoids contact with humanoids except sylvan elves, but a few centaurs managed to find their way onto the elven ships that sailed with the Tureni and the Eldritch Knights to offer much needed reinforcements to Azgund during the Shadow War.
