D&D 3.5 in Elyria, OH

Looking for gamers in the Elyria, OH area. Looking to play D&D 3.5 on a weekly to bi-weekly basis. Willing to DM but would also love to play, so a secondary DM would be great. Any questions feel free to contact me.

Also willing to play other games, though for other games I am a player only and can't DM/GM.

Trust me, I've noticed that Columbus and Cinncy seem to have more gamers than up toward Cleveland. At least more vocal players. I also have to admit that I really liked the Guard Tower down there in Columbus.

Thanks for the heads up though, I'll be sure to head over to the WoTC boards. I have to find a group more reliable than my existing one.

How about North Canton (about an hour away). I've already got players that travel from Columbus and Salem to play, typically on Sundays.

Well, I was able to find some folks in the Akron area (which certainly isn't that far from N. Canton) that are starting a group through the WotC boards. However, if that doesn't work out well I'd probably be willing to make the trek.

Could you shoot me an email and give me some info on how often you guys meet, what game you're playing, and stuff like that there? You should be able to get my email from the board.

I'm actually moving back to the Elyria area from Seattle after a 3 year absence. I do have some existing friends in the Akron area who may want to play but I'd like to get a game going sometime in Sept a little closer to home.

Aw, c'mon now. Elyria is such a rockin' town. Or... um... well... maybe not.

Actually though, I appreciate all the folks that are checking this thread as well as the folks replying to keep it near the top. Thus far, I have two possible groups forming. One here in Elyria, and one about an hour south in Akron. While I don't mind driving that hour, I'd much rather it be closer for the sake of my own health (ie: wife will *kill* me. ).

So... anyone else around?

So.... close....

Well, as an update thus far there's a group forming here in Elyria. We just had our first meeting tonight and while we didn't do any D&D we did the "first meeting" thing. The group consists of 3 folks thus far (with a probable fourth) but we'd still like at least one person. Here's the details we have so far:

Weekly game that meets on Sat or Sun for 4-6 hours, preferably starting in the late morning.

Two DMs with one DM running a game for two weeks straight then switching to the other DM.

Game would probably be D&D 3.5 and either another 3.5 game or a Spycraft/D20 Modern game.

That sums up the major points. If anyone is interested feel free to drop me a line.
