ethandrew, ah, that would be why I've never heard of it. ;) Complete Mage is not on the allowed books list (because Monkey doesn't own it). Shayuri, do you remember the info I gave you about Warlocks when you first expressed interest in the Azgundi Tournaments? That info still applies. ;) Should be in the first couple of pages of the Tournaments OOC thread. Psionics are still relatively unknown in the world at large and Thay is only now starting to figure out the differences. They dislike them on principle but haven't figured out a way to easily detect them, yet. Jemal, Human Paragon you say? Hehehe :] [sblock=For Jemal, regarding Human Paragons]Paragons in this setting are the creations of the Rakshasa who, up until the Shadow War when they were mostly destroyed, manipulated events in the world for their own twisted desires. Human Paragons were specifically created in Thay, magically engineered to be the ultimate soldiers and tools for the Red Wizards. However, a rebellious element was introduced into the Paragons by the Rakshasa known as the Unseen Assassin and they have proven too powerful to control. The Red Wizards have tried to find them all and put them down, but many of them have fled to other lands, building their power bases, with the intent of returning and overthrowing the Red Wizard government.[/sblock]
